Messi has been a colossus at Barcelona; right from when he joined La Masia up until now and for me, it is&nbsp;up to him to prove he can do it with another club, probably in another country.
There are not many one-club players and when the story of being the greatest is associated with you, then you have to show that you can do it in an environment of comparatively ‘lesser’ quality players around you.

I think Cristiano [Ronaldo] has proved himself in four different countries. Messi too has the chance although he may not have the advantage of time as Ronaldo may have had, but we wait and see what his next chapter will be like.

I think there has always been an argument between Messi and Cristiano [Ronaldo] on who is better than the other simply because Ronaldo has played across all the best leagues - he has played in the Premier League, he has played in La Liga, and now Serie A.
So I think this is an opportunity also for Messi to show he is not only a La Liga man.

For me, it is a good decision by Messi, it gives him a chance to show the world he can also flourish elsewhere apart from Spain, shine for any team he plays for, and actually, I would love to see him in the Premier League where it is tough, where the tackles come flying and you know it is physical.

It was bound to happen one day [Messi leaving Barcelona] and for me, I think he has taken the right decision in his career. Having won&nbsp;everything in La Liga, he deserved a new challenge and this is the right time for him to take it.
In my opinion, I would love to see him move to the Premier League because going to a team like PSG in France, I don’t think it will give him the competition he needs because it is not that physical or a quality league as opposed to the Premier League.

I am happy with the move because we have always wondered between Messi and Barcelona who was relying on the other, so the decision to leave is a good call as it will also be a challenge for Barcelona to get a replacement.
If you check recent results for Barcelona [before the season ended], the team was struggling, so we just have to wait and see whether his exit will improve the team or they will continue to post dismal outcomes.
