Back on loan in France after spending last season with OGC Nice, Saliba will feature for heavyweights Olympique de Marseille after being deemed not ready for the first-team scene at Arsenal.
The Gunners wanted Saliba to remain in the Premier League and adapt to life in England, only for him to reject their proposal and push through a move to France.

It hasn’t gone well with Arsenal fans, who have criticised the centre-back for his unwillingness to take the club’s advice, and he must now prove he’s made the right decision by starring for OM.

It remains to be seen whether Kamara will still be at Ligue 1 beyond the transfer window, as the midfielder continues to be linked with a move to Newcastle United.
The Premier League side are understood to be keen on a £10 million move for the midfield powerhouse, who has excelled at Olympique de Marseille since establishing himself in French football.

He’s also generated reported interest from Arsenal, while AC Milan and Lazio have previously been linked with the midfielder.

Boubacar Kamara

Enjoyed something of a breakout season last term, making 27 appearances for Olympique Lyonnais, but will be desperate to make more starts—he featured only five times from the off during 2020-21—during the coming campaign.
OL have a great tradition of promoting from within, and incoming coach Peter Bosz has also expressed his excitement at working with the Franco-Algerian wonderkid.

“He’s a player who’s nearly 18,” Bosz began, as per GFNF. “He has a lot to learn, but so do 32-year-old players.

“He has many very interesting aspects, and some that he needs to work on as well.

“That’s why I’m here, to work with young players and make them better.”

Tchouameni’s season has begun under a cloud, with the midfielder receiving death threats after being the victim of alleged racist abuse endured during a match with Sparta Prague.
On the field, expect him to make another big impact with AS Monaco this term, and he certainly has the potential to be the next big midfield sensation out of France.

Against Sparta—in Monaco’s Europa League qualifier—he opened the scoring, won 10 duels, registered three completed tackles and made four interceptions during a truly commanding display.

Gouiri certainly had a point to prove at OGC Nice last season after Lyon opted to cash in on the starlet at the beginning of the campaign.
€7 million was a decent return for the inexperienced frontman on paper, but in truth, so much more was expected of a player who had once been tipped as the future of OL.

He paid back that fee emphatically on the Riviera during the 2020-21 season, scoring 16 goals across Ligue 1 and the Europa League, while playing a key part in a decent campaign for Les Aiglons.

Gouiri is certainly one to watch during the coming year.

Undisputedly the outstanding African star in the French top flight this season, Hakimi arrives at Paris Saint-Germain having played a key role in Internazionale’s Serie A success.
The right-sider has enjoyed previous stints at Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid—winning the Champions League with the latter—and will be fully expecting to add the Ligue 1 crown to his honours call in the coming 12 months.

Beyond that, it would be a disappointment if Hakimi didn’t establish himself as the outstanding right-sider in the division.
