Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has been a regular for the Indian national team since making his international debut back in 2015.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper has also led the Indian team on three occasions. Sandhu was handed the captain's armband for the first time in 2016 in a friendly match against Puerto Rico by then-coach Stephen Constantine, just a year after he had made his debut.

The star goalkeeper has played 42 international matches so far and has been a consistent performer for the Blue Tigers, especially against opponents who are superior to the Blue Tigers.
