From Karius to Origi: Which players could leave Liverpool this summer?

This home-grown defender was on the bench for Klopp's first game as Liverpool boss, and made his debut soon after. He has been with the club's U-23 side this summer after returning from a productive loan spell with Hearts in Scotland, and looks set for a return north of the border. St Mirren, managed by former Everton boss Alan Stubbs, look the likeliest suitors.&nbsp;

Connor Randall - Defender

The Spanish midfielder has played a handful of senior games for the Reds, but spent last season on loan at Willem II and will be allowed to leave if the right offer arrives. Both Swansea and Nottingham Forest have made enquiries, with Liverpool ready to demand as much as £5m if the deal is to be a permanent one. Chirivella, who was signed from Valencia back in 2014, is also well rated on the continent, with teams in the Netherlands and Spain also monitoring.

There are people at Liverpool who believe this lad will play many, many games for the first team, but right now it looks as if his path is somewhat blocked at Anfield. Mind you, he's still only 18 and has a level-headed nature. <a href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/8/main/2018/07/22/46497902/woodburn-happy-to-let-klopp-decide-his-liverpool-future-this" target="_blank">He told&nbsp;<strong>Goal&nbsp;</strong>recently that he'll do whatever Klopp thinks best for him</a>, and there is a growing feeling at Anfield that a loan move may be what he needs. Norwich and Sheffield United are the frontrunners, but there will be at least a dozen clubs that would take the Wales international.&nbsp;

Ben Woodburn - Midfielder

Another talented youngster, Ojo is attracting interest from pretty much the entire Championship having enjoyed a promising but ultimately frustrating spell at Fulham last season. The England U-20 World Cup winner has shown glimpses of his undoubted talent at Anfield, even during this pre-season campaign, but it's hard to see a path into the first team for him at present. Liverpool, who will use the fees paid for the likes of David Brooks, James Maddison and even Richarlison as barometers for the market, reckon they could get up to £15m ($20m) for him if they were to sell. They did so with Jordon Ibe, after all.

Sheyi Ojo - Winger 

Liverpool's other Serb, meanwhile, faces a dilemma of his own. Grujic, 22, is keen to play regular football but knows that is unlikely to happen at Anfield. Klopp and his staff, though, genuinely believe he is capable of being a first-teamer for them in the coming years if he develops right. They would, therefore, like him to stay in the Premier League on a loan spell, signing a new contract before doing so. Cardiff are the frontrunners. Interest from Lazio, though, exists and the Italians would prefer a permanent deal. Grujic may wish to cut the strings, though again Liverpool feel they could get good money for the midfielder, as much as £20m ($26m).

Marko Grujic - Midfielder

Remember him? The Serb remains at Anfield as a reminder of days less fruitful for Liverpool in the transfer market. The £20m ($34m) paid to Benfica for Markovic in 2014 looks as bad a deal as the club has ever done, his last competitive appearance coming in May 2015. He has played twice this summer in friendly matches, but he is almost certain to depart before deadline day with Anderlecht, Leganes and Getafe all expressing an interest. Liverpool feel they could get £6m for the winger. They'd be lucky to.

Lazar Markovic - Winger 

A different kind of situation, this one. Klopp would be delighted to have Ings available for selection this season, and is in no rush to sell the 26-year-old. But Ings, having lost the best part of three years to injuries, is keen to move on and play regular football. The club are sympathetic to his wishes, in a way they perhaps wouldn't be with others. He remained behind when the club headed off on their US tour, partly so that he and his agent could mull over interest from Newcastle, Southampton, Leicester and Crystal Palace. Liverpool believe they could get £20m ($26m) plus add-ons for the once-capped England striker.

Danny Ings - Striker

This could have been a big summer for the Belgian. He returned from a disappointing loan spell at Wolfsburg, and could have grabbed a first-team spot had he shown the talent which persuaded Liverpool to sign him from Lille back in 2014. However, his form in pre-season has been poor, and the Reds are willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old. Valencia are showing the most interest, but Liverpool's asking price is £27 million (€30m'/$35m). They'd be happy to keep Origi around if that isn't met, or consider another loan move, but it appears unlikely that he will trouble Roberto Firmino and co for a first-team spot at Anfield.

Divock Origi - Striker 

And what of Liverpool's other goalkeeper? Mignolet lost his place to Karius last season after starting the campaign as No.1, and has no intention of hanging around as backup at this stage of his career. Fulham expressed an interest in the 30-year-old but cooled and opted instead to sign Fabri from Besiktas. That leaves a vacancy at the Turkish club, while Barcelona have been surprisingly linked in the last week, with Jasper Cillessen set to leave. Would Mignolet fancy the bench at Camp Nou though? He's more likely to leave than Karius, at this stage.

Simon Mignolet - Goalkeeper 

Shall we start with a man who has had more column inches than most over the past few months? Karius' errors in the Champions League final in May ensured questions would be asked over the German's future over the summer, and his form during pre-season, where he has made mistakes against both Tranmere and Borussia Dortmund, has done little to calm the situation. Liverpool <a href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/8/main/2018/07/18/46418722/video-liverpool-to-sign-alisson-in-phenomenal-67-million" target="_blank">have already recruited his replacement as No.1, Alisson Becker</a>, and Karius told German media on Sunday that he was considering his position at Anfield as a result. Whether there would be takers right now, especially given that Liverpool would not sell him on the cheap, is another matter. Jurgen Klopp loves a romantic comeback, but it is hard to see the former Mainz man delivering that. One to watch between now and deadline day...
