Elneny, Salah, Iheanacho and Africans who won end-of-season awards in Europe

The Egypt midfielder has been honoured with Arsenal's Goal of the Season award for his stunning goal in a Uefa Europa League match against Dundalk.
Elneny’s goal received 31 per cent of the votes cast while Kieran Tierney and Nicolas Pepe's strikes both against West Bromwich finished in second and third respectively.

The 22-year-old saw off competition from Christian Benteke and Jean-Philippe&nbsp;Mateta after the goal he scored during a Premier League match back in January&nbsp;collected 48 per cent of the total votes.

The two-time African Footballer of the Year won Liverpool's Player of the Year award following his remarkable goalscoring season.
Salah was the Reds' top scorer in the 2020-21 campaign with 31 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions, and he was close to winning the Premier League top scorer prize with only one goal separating him from eventual winner Harry Kane (23 goals).

The 21-year-old player of Cameroonian descent played a key role in helping Niko Kovac's side as they finished third in the league table with his contributions in the middle of the park.

He provided three assists and two goals in 36 Ligue 1 games.

Kelechi Iheanacho's fine goalscoring season has been capped with Leicester City's Goal of the Season award.
The Super Eagles striker's curling strike against Crystal Palace in a Premier League match in April won the prize after&nbsp;it secured all maximum points for the Foxes with a 2-1 comeback win.

Iheanacho ended the 2020-21&nbsp;season with 19 goals and seven assists in 39 matches across all competitions.

The Zambian goalscoring machine won the Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Season award&nbsp;after his heroics for RB Salzburg.
Daka scored 27 goals in 28&nbsp;league matches and also seven assists to his tally as the Red Bulls clinched their eighth consecutive title in the Austrian top-flight.
