The left-footed Galatasaray defender won the majority of his duels and looks quite comfortable in possession.

Chidozie Awaziem (6/10)

The Leicester City midfielder wasn't&nbsp;quite as dominant as he was in the 1-0 defeat by Cameroon on Friday, but he still had a&nbsp;satisfactory performance.

Wilfred Ndidi (6/10)

Linked play effectively and pushed forward to press in the opposition’s defensive third.
Fashioned out a couple of opening for Kelechi Iheanacho, who didn’t have his scoring boots on.

An improved showing for the Everton man than Friday’s forgettable outing.

Alex Iwobi (7.5/10)

Offered little and couldn’t combine seamlessly with fellow attackers. Replaced with 11 minutes to play.

Ahmed Musa (5/10)

Couldn’t pull up trees as the left winger, but it wasn’t for the want of trying.
Moonlighted at left-back after Collins’ substitution and recovered well from an early mistake to deliver an acceptable showing in an unfamiliar role.

Moses Simon (6/10)

Lacked the sharpness that typified his late-season Leicester City form.
Couldn’t capitalise on a brilliant Iwobi pick out in the final 15 minutes of the game and missed another chance with time running out.

Kelechi Iheanacho (5/10)

Still can’t seem to get going in a Nigeria jersey, despite his continued success for Genk.
Was withdrawn at the break.

Paul Onuachu (4.5/10)

Replaced an ineffectual Onuachu at half-time.
Missed what looked to be a presentable opening to send the West Africans into the lead just after the break.

Abraham Marcus (6/10)

The Feirense man showed some promise after his introduction and even allowed a typically risk-averse Shehu to push forward.

Anayo Iwuala (N/A)

Came on for Musa in the game’s closing stages.

Terem Moffi (5/10)
